Today in class we started our closing our tablet, and Mr. Watson was giving us a speech about our test which is going to be about 3.3 indirect object and 3.4 linking and predicate words. Then we opened up grammar and composition handbook to page 101. We started looking at questions about linking sentences, then predicate sentences. After we did questions 1 –10 on page 102. Number one the linking verb is looks, the predicate adjective is handsome. Number two, the linking verb is, is, the predicate noun is singer/dancer. Number three the action verb is appeared and there are no nouns. Then we did the rest by ourselves and it got really no were because we were talking. We went over them and most of us thought they were easy. For homework we have chapters 18 and 19 job and journal response to do. Make sure your review template is sent to mr.
